The group is open to all women and is a social meet-up to make new friends, chat, create and support each other.

Here in Teignmouth, we are so fortunate to have both the wonderful creative studios that is The Makery and also, the inspirational Community artist Sam Lock, who runs the studios.
We have been delighted to participate in TRAIL this year, with our British Iconic Women instillation, which can now be viewed on the Teignmouth Seafront and we will share photos of the soon.
In the meantime, to keep the creativity alive, including the Trail Recycled Art in the Landscape and all that the wonders that The Makery offers to the whole community, please do share and support The Makery Go fund me 😀

It’s Riot Women this Sunday 6-8pm and some of us will be starting to work on our TRAIL Icons or otherwise just having a social get together and we hope to see you if you’re free 😀

Hi everyone 😀 Don’t forget it’s our next Riot Women group on Sunday 3rd May 6-8pm. A chance to connect, chat and be as creative as you wish. Caroline and I are hoping to take part in the 20th anniversary of TRAIL this year, with the theme of Inspirational Women. Does anyone else fancy joining us in this project ? If you are we can chat about it on Sunday 😀

A quick reminder that Riot Women are meeting next weekend (12th April) not this weekend due to the Bank Holiday.

Riot Women normally takes place on the first Sunday of the month but because this falls on Easter Sunday, we've decided to move Riot Women to the following week.

Our next meet up will be on Sunday 12th April at 6pm at The Alice Cross Centre. It's an opportunity to chat, work on an existing project (for example, bring your knitting/crochet etc) or to create something together.

I was recently inspired by an arty session in another group, so we are going to try painting shadow foliage and flowers. No art skill needed, just a willingness to work together to create something fabulous whilst chatting with old and new friends.
There is no pressure to join the art activity - you can just come along and chat if you wish.

The bar will be open ☺️
