🔄 NOW IT’S YOUR TIME TO RUN THE DROP-IN! 🔄
To celebrate International Youth Work Day, we’re turning things upside down with a role reversal! 🙌
Our young people are taking charge — delivering the activities, leading the fun and showing our youth workers how it’s done! 😎
And the youth workers? They are participating! 👀😂
It’s a chance for our young people to take the lead, share their skills and have a bit of fun seeing the staff on the other side of the activities!
Who’s ready to see what happens when young people run the drop-in and youth workers become the participants?! 🎯🎨🎮⚽

What an incredible final week of our Summer Programme! ☀️💛
This week we've enjoyed trips to the cinema and McDonald's, laser tag, crazy golf, and we finished in style with an action-packed day at Fun Parx Ninja Warrior! 🎬🍔⛳🔫🤸
We've had an amazing summer, enjoying 18 fantastic trips and making memories that will last a lifetime. From trying new experiences to building confidence, it's been wonderful to watch new friendships blossom and see so many smiling faces along the way.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this summer so special. We can't wait to see you all again soon! 💙

Well, here we are in the final week of our Summer Programme, it's gone by so quickly! 🌞

We hope you've all had an amazing summer with us and are looking forward to heading back to school. Thank you to everyone who has joined us over the past few weeks and helped make this year's programme so much fun.

Below are the details of our final trips. We can't wait to finish the summer with you all and make a few more great memories before the new school term begins! 😊

What a fantastic week we've had! 🌟

We kicked things off at Aqua Dash, where there were plenty of laughs as everyone ended up taking an unexpected dip in the pool! 💦😂

Next, we visited the Chocolatarium, where we learned all about how chocolate is made... and, of course, sampled far more chocolate than we probably should have! 🍫😋

To round off an amazing week, we headed to Hillend for some fun on the tubing slopes before taking on the new Alpine Coaster. 🛷🏔️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a memorable week, and to PC Lennox Police Scotland Midlothian for continuing to support our summer programme.

It's been brilliant making new memories and having so much fun together. Just one more week to go, we can't wait for next week’s trips! 🎉

💙 Introducing Wellbeing Matters sessions - Starting this Friday 31st July! 💙

Life can be tough sometimes, and everyone needs someone to talk to or somewhere to just be themselves. That's why we're launching Wellbeing Matters a brand-new Friday afternoon group for young people aged 11–18.

This is your space to:
✨ Chill out and meet new people
🎨 Get involved in fun creative activities
💬 Chat about things that matter
💪 Build confidence and learn new skills
🌟 Find ways to cope with stress, anxiety, and life's ups and downs
🙌 Feel supported in a safe, friendly environment

You'll be supported by our Youth Worker and young leaders, and if you ever need a bit of extra help, we'll make sure you know where to find it.

There's even the chance to gain recognised youth achievement awards, giving you something great to add to your CV or future applications while celebrating everything you achieve.

📍 Every Friday afternoon 3:30 - 5:00pm at Y2K
