The Sidings Cafe & Bistro

Opening this May 2019......The Sidings is a social enterprise who’s aim is to develop a unique opportunity for people with multiple disadvantages to forge a career in the catering and hospitality sector.

We will do this in our fully operational, high quality café bistro which will also provide a welcoming space and ambiance for members of the community and local businesses to meet, eat, drink and be happy. The Sidings will offer high standard affordable, healthy and delicious meals, cakes and beverages to sit in or takeaway. It is our intention to use the café bistro to change the reputation of the hospitality sector in order to attract people in to the industry.

We aim to encourage cross-generational interaction within the community through our community and business hub. This will provide fully serviced, bright and airy meeting rooms that will be available for community us throughout the day and evenings. Our ICT suite will allow people of all ages and abilities to have access to training as well as free Wi-Fi which will create a unique opportunity to gain valuable skills required in today’s digital world.
