Acre Wood Academy is having their Summer Fair on Friday 3rd July 5:30-7:30pm.

If you would like to rent a table to sell your own products at our fair please get in touch by emailing : [email protected]
Cost is £10 per table.

If you have anything you’d like to donate to our hamper raffle or tombola please also email us at the above address. We really appreciate any support you can offer.

All money raised or donated is used to fund additional resources, equipment and experiences that enrich learning, support sensory needs and bring joy to our students.

Thank you to Singing Hands and Poppy for visiting our school last week. It was a day full of singing, Makaton signing and dancing. Enjoyed by both students and staff.

Acre Wood Academy is a specialist school in Crowborough for students aged 4-19 with a wide range of Soecial Education Needs and Disabilities.

We are looking for a local company or organisation or similar who would like to sponser a football kit for a group of students that are taking part in a football tournament soon.

If this is something you would like to fund or if you know someone who might be interested please do contact us.

This Saturday is Acre Wood Acadamey’s (formally Grove Park School) Christmas Fair. 6th Dec, 12-3pm at our Primary site on Church Road.

Please do join us if you can.

This will be a cash only event.

We are thrilled that Acre Wood Charitable Trust (AWCT) have been awarded £1000 from the Tesco Token scheme that was recently in Crowborough and Forest Row stores. Thank you to everyone who went into store and posted tokens voting for our school.

The money will be used to fund a visit from the wonderful Singing Hands

Singing Hands are Suzanne and Tracy who use Makaton with singing and music. It is designed to develop communication through music, songs, games and activities in a very fun and engaging way. Their multi-sensory approach is the perfect vehicle for children and young people of all abilities to practise their signing and enjoy making music together.

We cannot wait to welcome Suzanne and Tracy to Acre Wood Academy for the day in February 2026.

Well done to all those that took part in the Crowborough Bonfire and Carnival Society Parade yesterday.

Acre Wood (was Grove Park) Charitable Trust, parents and staff from Acre Wood (was Grove Park) had a wonderful time. Thank you for inviting us to be part of the parade.

We are one of the charities benefiting from the donations made to the bonfire society this year so please give generously if you can.
