The Banners have gone up - one outside of Ashdown Juniors School and one in the centre of town - the teams are all getting ready to greet you next Saturday with all those broken bits and pieces - see you then!!

Those annoyances. A zip had come off a sofa cushion but luckily this person had thought to come to the Crowborough Repair Cafe to get it fixed.

These garden solar lights were brand new and were unfortunately cut by mistake. Our repairer Paul re-soldered them and taught their owner now how to fix them. One happy customer!

Last month the hall was buzzing with activity. Ron repaired the clasp on this lovely bracelet (not in this month), Kevin got a childs bike back up and running, Kathryn worked on the lining of a leather bag. The sewing team was busy fixing bags and all kinds of clothes. All while the children were building their critical thinking and creative skills and we all ate home made cake.
We couldn't get any more wholesome if we tried!

Come and join us this Saturday from 10am until 12pm at Ashdown Juniors on Herne Road.

Bring your camping equipment, beach and outdoor toys if they need fixing.

Our super duper new signs are up, thanks to the very Jo Budd for her design talents!! As the signs show our next Repair Cafe is on Saturday 4th July from 10 until 12.30!

This is certainly true of our volunteers. They love fixing things!

The Crowborough Repair Cafe is this Saturday 6th June. We will have our array of friendly volunteers waiting to breathe some new life into your household items. So, bring bring your textiles, jewellery, electrical, mechanical or woodwork along. We've fixed clocks, toys, necklaces, wooden boxes, Christmas decorations, bikes and all kinds.

To top it off, it wouldn't be a cafe without some nice home made cake and a cuppa 🍰☕

So why not give it a try? We will be at Ashdown Junior School, Herne Road from 10am and we pack up at 12.30pm, so allow plenty of time for fixing. We look forward to seeing you.

We have a great team of volunteers. Our Repairers provide all sorts of skills - whether that be electrical, textiles, cycles, mechanical, IT, wood, sharpening, jewellery ... basically they will have a go at fixing most things! Then of course, we have our friendly Support Team who help guide you through your journey, and the Cafe team who provide you with a selection of yummy home made goodies. We would love to see you there with your broken bits and pieces. rather than bin!!
