Preschool classes at Langton’s Café this September!

We’re bringing two of our Storybook Studios classes to Langton’s Café for another term of story-inspired fun!

Wiggle & Sing
Thursdays at 10am
A lively, story-filled session of singing, movement, music and plenty of fun for little ones. Led by our Brit school trained singer Alice Rose!

Mindful Movements
Fridays at 10am
Our yoga-inspired class where stories come to life through movement, breathing, playful games and simple yoga poses. (We provide the mats and all the resources)

Book the full term and your little one will be invited to a special celebration for the final session at no extra cost!

Our celebration session will include:

If you book sessions individually, you can still join the celebration - the final session will simply be £12.50. instead of £6/£6.50.

The Story Stage workshop 💛

Such a brilliant day of drama, creativity and teamwork.

From choosing characters and costumes, learning lines and rehearsing a dance and song, to designing the set and putting it all together for a fantastic final performance - everyone played their part.

We were also so excited to have our new class leader, Alice, with us, bringing her guitar and incredible voice to teach the children an original song. 🎶

A huge well done to everyone who took part. We loved seeing your ideas, confidence and creativity come to life on stage!

It’s a How to Train Your Dragon-inspired drama workshop, with children creating characters, costumes and sets, rehearsing and putting on their own performance.

And they don't have to be performers - they can also join our Production Crew and get involved behind the scenes.

A lovely full day of making, storytelling and drama during the last stretch of the summer holidays.

We’re so excited to announce that Storybook Studios is coming to Sussex Country Gardener in Mark Cross!

Starting in September, our Wiggle & Sing preschool class will be running every Wednesday, led by our fantastic West End star Emily! ⭐️

Expect singing, movement, stories, games and plenty of fun, a lovely, engaging class for preschoolers.

✨ Our first Story Stage workshop... WOW! ✨

Inspired by The Magic Faraway Tree, we found ourselves in the Land of Potions!

The children created their own unique characters, invented names, designed the set, chose their costumes, learned their lines, and even performed a song (beautifully sung by Lana in the background of this video!).

It was wonderful to watch their creativity, confidence and imagination grow throughout the day. They completely immersed themselves in their characters, adding new ideas as the story unfolded.

The day ended with a fantastic performance, and we couldn't be prouder of every single child. What an amazing first Story Stage workshop - we can't wait for the next one! 💛

🚨 **NEW LOCATION!** 🚨

Storybook Mindful Movements is coming to Wadhurst Commemoration Hall - tomorrow!!

Due to an unexpected venue change, we're moving this week's session to **Wadhurst Commemoration Hall** and to celebrate our first class there, we're offering a **special introductory price of just £5 per child!**

If you've been looking for something a little different this summer, we'd love you to come along!

✨ What can you expect?

📖 A magical story brought to life through yoga-inspired poses
🌈 Fun movement games and imaginative adventures
🌬️ Simple breathing exercises and mindfulness activities
💚 Positive affirmations to build confidence
🎶 Gentle background music to create a calm, welcoming atmosphere

It's a class that's **calming without being quiet, active without being overwhelming** - perfect for children who love stories, movement and using their imagination.

🧘‍♀️ **No yoga experience is needed at all!** We provide everything, including the mats, so you can simply turn up and enjoy the adventure.

We'd absolutely love to build a regular community in Wadhurst. Some of you may remember our **Story Kitchen** workshop during May half term, which was such a lovely day, and we have more Story Kitchen workshops coming up this summer too.

👨‍👩‍👧 **Parents & carers:**
• Children **under 5** should be accompanied by an adult.
• Children **aged 5+** are welcome to attend independently if they're happy to do so, or you're very welcome to stay and join in.

The session will be led by our wonderful class leader Vicky, with Daisy there to support throughout. Daisy holds an Enhanced DBS check and a Level 3 Paediatric First Aid qualification.
