Making waves in Stockingford!

A colourful mermaid and her sea creature friends have earned learners at MacIntyre No Limits Midlands third place in their local Scarecrow Trail!

This year's theme was Waves Above and Wonders Below, and the learners decided to create something with a sensory twist.

Everyone got involved, from making the papier-mâché head and creating textured scales to stuffing tentacles and shopping for the perfect mermaid wig!

Their underwater creation joined scarecrows made by local residents, schools, businesses and community groups for everyone to enjoy.

What a lovely way to share some creativity with the local community.
