🍝🎃🗒️Pasta, Pumpkins and Planning🗒️🎃🍝

We had a lovely evening last night at our YAC group. We made a vegetarian spaghetti bolognaise and decorated pumpkins. There was also conversations and planning around future goals, education and career paths.

Through our Stepping Forward project, we’re supporting young adult carers to build confidence, develop life skills and explore opportunities for their future - all while having fun😊

👻🎃 We have a Halloween inspired taster session on 29th October 2-5 where young carers can attend alongside their cared for if they wish. This session is also suitable for our young carers who have additional needs themselves🎃👻

Please note the taster session and future Rowan’s stars sessions are for UNDER 13s only.

We are happy to share that we have been granted a number of tickets to take our young carers to Scarefest at Alton towers during October half term. Spaces have already been filled and confirmed for this trip, It would not be possible with out the wonderful donation from Merlins magic wand!

Skegness 2026⛱️ Toni and Shannon joined a bunch of carers on a trip to the seaside last week. They had lots of fun on the 2p machines, sitting on the beach, eating yummy food and exploring the Skegness sights🌊 we were also lucky to have bright blue skies and some sunshine☀️
