Big thank you to Ryan for coming back and giving our gardens some much-needed attention 🌿👏

Ryan is one of our former residents, and seeing people come back and give their time to help out means a lot to us. We’re really grateful for all the hard work he’s put in , the gardens are looking brilliant.

Ryan’s excellent at what he does, works hard, gets stuck in, and gets the job done properly. He’s done work for a number of people we know and always gets great feedback.

If anyone is looking for garden work to be done and would like Ryan’s details, feel free to get in touch with us and we can pass on his number.

Ryan is currently working, so he’s mainly available late afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Thanks again Ryan — we really appreciate you giving back to the community. It’s always great to see. 🙌

A huge well done to all the lads for completing their 6 week equine therapy course 👏🐴

We’re really proud of every one of you for turning up, getting involved, and throwing yourselves into something that for many was well outside your comfort zone. It’s been amazing to watch the growth in confidence, connection, patience and self awareness over the last few weeks.

A massive shout out as well to Kate and Lou from Horse and People Project. We absolutely adore you both. The care, time, and energy you put into what you do is something special, and the impact it has on our residents goes far beyond what people see on the surface. Your work is second to none and it continues to make a real difference.

Thank you for having us over the past 6 weeks and for all the work you do 👏❤️

90 days sober yesterday for Kirandeep 🙌✨

A little late posting this one, but this milestone definitely deserves celebrating.

Huge congratulations to Kirandeep on reaching 90 days sober. 90 days of showing up for yourself, making changes, and continuing to move forward one day at a time. That’s something to be really proud of.

It’s been lovely having you with us at Exodus. One of the things that really stands out about you is how thoughtful you are. You’ve got such a caring nature and always seem to be looking out for the people around you. You bring a calm presence and have definitely become a bit of a mother hen around the place, always checking in on people and making sure everyone’s alright. Those things matter more than you probably realise.

It’s been a real pleasure watching your journey so far and seeing the progress you’ve made. Keep going Kirandeep, keep trusting the process and keep backing yourself. You’ve got a lot to be proud of.

And we’re really glad to have another female in the Exodus crew 😊

11 months clean for Dan 👏

What a journey it’s been. Watching the change in you over these past 11 months has been a real blessing. Recovery isn’t always easy and it asks a lot of us, but you’ve kept showing up and kept moving forward, even on the hard days.

Glad you’re here walking this path with us, Dan. There’s always more to do for every single one of us, but it’s good to stop sometimes and look back at how far we’ve come… and you’ve come so far ❤️

It’s a blessing to see you supporting others the way you do. The encouragement, support and time you give to the people around you doesn’t go unnoticed. You’ve become a solid part of the community and that matters more than you probably realise.

Be proud of yourself mate. 11 months is massive. Keep going, one day at a time. Proud of you 👊🔥

We celebrate these milestones because they mean so much more than clean time 🙌

Every day won is a day we choose to turn our lives around. A day to be accountable, responsible, and to start repairing the damage addiction has caused not just to ourselves, but to the people we love.

That can weigh heavy. So we make time to celebrate it.

Because recovery is hard work… and it deserves to be recognised (and to have a laugh along the way 😄💙)

Huge well done to Paul on reaching 30 days clean 🙌

The early days are never easy, and like many who come through our doors, Paul has had to push through some difficult moments. But what’s stood out is his willingness to keep showing up, keep being honest, and keep moving forward even when it’s felt tough.

It’s been a real blessing to watch the progress in you over this last month. To see the change already taking place in such a short space of time has been amazing. Recovery asks a lot of us, and you’ve kept putting one foot in front of the other.

Keep going Paul. 30 days is a huge achievement and we’re proud to be walking this journey with you. One day at a time 💙

Huge congratulations to Nick on reaching 5 months clean 👏

We’ve been working with Nick for over a year now, so to see him reach this milestone is a real blessing for all of us at Exodus.

The way you have kept going, kept pushing forward, and refused to give up has been genuinely inspiring to watch. Recovery hasn’t always been easy, and your journey has asked a lot of you, but you’ve continued to show up and do the work.

One thing that really stands out is your willingness to make difficult changes when you know they’re needed. Making the decision to detox from prescription medication after recognising it was an obstacle to your recovery took real honesty and courage. Those kinds of decisions are not easy, but they’re often the decisions that shape lasting change.

Over this past year we’ve seen so much growth in you. You’re becoming dependable, grounded, and continuing to refine your character into a good man. You’ve also become a real support to the newer lads coming into the programme. The encouragement you give, the way you show up for others, and the example you set does not go unnoticed.

I say it all the time but what makes the ethos here so special is you guys. The way you move as a unit, support one another, challenge one another, and pull each other forward through difficult days is powerful to witness. That brotherhood and sense of community is a huge part of recovery, and you are a valued part of that.

We’re proud of you, Nick. Five months is a huge achievement. Keep moving forward, one day at a time. You’ve come a long way, and it’s a privilege to walk alongside you on this journey 💙

Huge congratulations to Kayne on reaching 5 months clean 👏

Kayne has become a real solid member of the community here at Coventry Exodus. He’s always willing to help, always ready to give back, and he consistently turns up for the people around him. He’s become a great source of support to the newer lads coming into the programme, and that kind of peer support is powerful. Sometimes having someone beside you who truly gets it can make all the difference.

But even more importantly than what Kayne gives to others is the way he’s been learning to turn up for himself.

Recovery asks a lot of us. It asks us to make difficult decisions, to sit with uncomfortable feelings, to challenge old ways of thinking, and to keep going even when every part of us wants to run the other way. Real change often means going against the grain. Taking the path of most resistance. Choosing what’s right over what feels easy in the moment.

And that’s exactly what Kayne has been doing.

Five months clean is a massive achievement, but what sits underneath that is the daily effort, the hard choices, the willingness to keep showing up and doing the work even when it’s tough. That’s where the real growth happens.

We’re proud of you, mate. Not just for the milestone, but for the man you’re becoming through the process. Keep pushing forward. One day at a time 💙

A slightly late post, but a massive well done to Luke on reaching 60 days clean and sober (now 68 days) 👏🔥

Luke has worked extremely hard since arriving at Exodus and it’s honestly been a blessing to watch the change in him from those early days until now. Recovery isn’t always easy and it takes courage to keep showing up, keep being honest and keep pushing forward even on the difficult days.

We’ve seen growth, determination and a willingness to keep fighting for a better life, and that deserves recognition.

Keep up the momentum mate. Keep moving forward, one day at a time. The best is still yet to come 💙

Another great day down at Fight Academy today. The lads worked hard… really hard. 🥊💪

Training plays such a massive role in recovery. It’s not just about fitness, it’s about discipline, routine, pushing through discomfort, building confidence and learning how to deal with emotions in a healthy way. There’s something powerful about seeing the lads encourage each other, dig deep and realise they’re capable of far more than they once believed.

Recovery is about rebuilding from the inside out, and physical training can be a huge part of that process.

Also a special mention to Dan who decided to tip a bottle of water over his own head halfway through so it looked like he’d been putting in extra work 😂 We see you mate.

Big thank you as always to the team at Fight Academy for the support and encouragement 👊
