We have been running now for over 4 years and in this time have helped almost 6,000 people with around 120,000 items of food, covering areas including Congleton, Goostrey, Alderley Edge, Wilmslow, Sandbach, Middlewich, Macclesfield, Marton, Knutsford, Biddulph, Mow Cop, Alsager, Newcastle, Scholar Green and Church Lawton. How can I support The Storehouse? Keeping the foodbank stocked with food is
a constant need. All the food is generously donated by individuals, other churches, groups and some businesses in our local community. Some prefer to donate finance so appropriate food can be purchased. If you would like to help, you can bring your donation to New Life Church or if you wish to discuss or donate finance please contact us. How can I access the Foodbank? Access to the service is through obtaining a Storehouse FOOD Referral 2012 from one of over 70 caring and support organisations and agencies working in our community e.g. Plus Dane Housing, Adullam Homes, Social Services, Mental Health Teams, Barnabus, Great Places, Aspire, Sanctuary Housing, CAB, Richmond Fellowship and many others. When is the Storehouse open? Referrals can be emailed in to [email protected] or faxed in 01260 295929 or telephone the church office 01260 297961 any weekday between 8am and 4pm. Referrals are processed to give food out on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 10am and 3pm unless an exceptional arrangement is made.
