Beartown Rickshaw

What a scorcher it was this week with customers from 7 care homes and one day care centre. We’ve taken customers around Henshall Hall, Biddulph valley way, Congleton Park and the town centre. As you can see our customers were very happy. Unfortunately we had to cancel one ride this week because we had no driver so if you are interested in joining us please send a facebook message and we’ll be in touch. Full training is given and there is no obligation, just do what you want.

Oh dear 😢 our rickshaw got a puncture so we called Pooles towing and recovery who got us out of trouble. A big thank you from us all for your help.

Another lovely day to take Marian and her friend Diane for a ride around Congleton Park. Lots of people out walking and waving we all had a great time enjoying the fresh air.

With two glorious days of sunshine the rickshaw has been out and about with residents from Heliosa and Priesty fields care homes and a special trip on Saturday for Jenna and her carer, Petra. They all enjoyed their rides especially Mavis aged 100!

What a fabulous day for a rickshaw ride for first timers Ellie and Mavis from park lane care home. We went to the park then back through town.
