We've had a fantastic team building day at Belmont Estate learning about re-wilding, discovering the nature around us, laughing, and hugging trees. We all came away feeling inspired and happy. Huge thanks to Martin for a fascinating and enjoyable day 🌱🌳🐛

New Creative Wellbeing Workshops - Nailsea from

Not a JHF event, but we thought some of our followers might like to know about this new women's group:

Our CreativeBeing programme is launching in Nailsea at the Tithe Barn.
Workshops will be weekly on Fridays, running 1pm-3pm.

These groups are for women - we create a safe, accessible space for women to connect with themselves, with others and their local community.
We offer a different creative activity each week, encouraging a relaxing, calm environment for women to improve their sense of wellbeing.

Groups are typically 8-12 women.
Booking is essential and our referrals are managed through our partner organisation, The Nature Consortia.

Spooky Season is officially upon us 👻

The skies are getting darker, there is a chill in the air and the pumpkins are out in full force!

There is no better time to announce our FAMILY HALLOWEEN TRAIL!!

Starting on the 23rd, the Piers gates will creak open to welcome you to our haunted trail. Venture down the Pier, find the cauldrons and discover what’s lurking at the end of the Pier.. if you dare. ⚰️

Pier admission applies. Your tickets will include our free Halloween trail, games, a colouring station and a spooky display 🎃

We look forward to seeing you all this spooky break and we hope to see some of you dressed for the occasion!

Feel Good Friday! 💛

A huge thank you to all our supporters, volunteers, and everyone who comes along to our events.

The money raised at events like our recent ceilidh goes directly towards supporting young people across North Somerset. Whether you're buying a prize draw ticket (congratulations to Sarah, our grand prize winner!), creating beautiful floral decorations (thank you, Wendy Musson ), giving your time to help, or joining us for a great evening, every contribution makes a difference.

Such a joyful session at the VANS Mindfest event in Pill yesterday. Now Here This working their musical magic and getting young people joining in, laughing and smiling. Afterwards, someone said it made them 'excited and hungry'!

We would like to wish our wonderful trustee and co-founder, Kim, a very happy big birthday!

Kim quietly supports our charity in so many ways, from directing cars in the village hall car park to raising money through swimming and cycling challenges, and all the trustee and fundraising duties in between.

Everyone at the JHF benefits from Kim's wisdom, guidance and upbeat presence.

Thank you for everything, Kim, and many happy returns from all of us! 🥳

Loads of science and creativity going on in mentoring sessions this week 😄💙

Did you know that JHF mentors tailor their sessions to the young persons interests and passions? Being engaged in something that interests them helps our young people to relax and start to build trust with their mentor. And it means no two mentoring sessions are ever the same!
