📣 Youth clubs at The Barn Clevedon

Looking for a welcoming local place where your child or young person can meet others, build confidence and enjoy spending time with friends?

The Barn offers regular youth clubs for children and young people from age 8 upwards. Whether they enjoy games, sports, music and creative activities or simply want somewhere relaxed to hang out, there is space to get involved at their own pace.

🟣 Junior Youth Club — ages 8–11
📅 Thursdays
⏰ 4.45–6.30pm

A fun and welcoming space to play, create, make friends and enjoy some independence, supported by our youth work team.

🔵 Years 7 and 8 Youth Club
📅 Mondays
⏰ 6–8pm

A relaxed place to meet new people, catch up with friends and spend the evening your way.

🔵 Year 9+ Youth Club
📅 Thursdays
⏰ 7–9pm

A dedicated space for older young people to hang out, socialise and get involved in activities when they choose.

All children and young people are welcome, whichever school they attend. They can come with friends or arrive not knowing anyone — our team will be there to welcome them.

📣 NEW YEAR 7’s Youth Club

Starting secondary school is a big change — and The Barn is a great place to meet new people, catch up with friends and have somewhere relaxed to hang out.

There’s plenty happening, including games, sports, music and creative activities, or you can simply chill and spend time with friends. There’s no pressure to join in with everything and no need to already know anyone — just drop in and see what’s going on.

Our Monday Youth Club is open to all young people in Years 7 and 8, whichever school you attend.

Our Year 9+ Youth Club runs on Thursdays from 7–9pm.

We’ve been busy behind the scenes getting The Barn fresh, safe and ready to welcome children, young people and our wonderful community back!

🧼 Carpets professionally cleaned
🔥 Gas detectors checked
🎨 A fresh lick of paint
🫧 Tables scrubbed — including the glamorous job of removing chewing gum from underneath them!
🧹 Everything cleaned, tidied and put back in its place

The Barn is now looking bright, colourful and ready for another busy term! 🌈

To our youth friends of The Barn that are collecting exam results today just remember whatever is written on that piece of paper, be proud of the work you have put in and everything you have overcome.
There are always different routes and opportunities available, even if today doesn’t go exactly as you hoped.

Take a breath, reach out to someone you trust if you need support, and remember—you are worth far more than a set of grades. We are proud of you. 💛

School anxiety is a common issue and can affect any child at any time. Friendship worries, struggling to keep up with the workload, anxiety relating to the school environment, stress around perfectionism, juggling home and school and a social life, fears of starting a new school, the pressure to do everything... Whatever you are finding hard, I am here for you.

Important Notice: GROUP CANCELLATIONS - Wednesday and Thursday ❌☀

Due to the current heat warnings in the area, all Family Hub groups including baby hubs, Baby and me and Mind, Body & Bump/Baby sessions will unfortunately not be running on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th June. 📅

This includes all Family Hub groups such as muddy boots, let's play and sensory fun as well as baby hubs at The Campus and Ashcombe.

These decisions are made with everyone’s wellbeing in mind, particularly to keep babies, children and caregivers safe during these high temperatures.
