Want to sponsor a young person award?

We are getting ready to celebrate the incredible journeys of our young people… and we would love you to be a part of it!

The cost of sponsoring an award is £250, but absolutely priceless for the young person who will receive it!

As well as your company name going on the front of the award, it will also be over to you (or your team) to personally present the award to the winner on the big night, Thursday 12th November.

These awards shine a spotlight on young people who, in some cases, don’t get that recognition elsewhere. It is the best night of the year in our opinion and there is rarely a dry eye in the house.

We'd like to say a huge thank you and congratulations to Paul Cook for completing the Great North Run and raising an incredible £1,377.50 for Inspire.

Despite openly admitting that running is not his thing, Paul took on the challenge after being inspired by the event and committed himself to tackling 13.1 miles in support of us.

By stepping outside his comfort zone and crossing the finish line, he's raised vital funds that will help us continue our work in the community.

Thank you to everyone who donated and supported Paul along the way, and well done, Paul, on this fantastic achievement.

Is it too early to talk about Christmas?

When you're planning presents and celebrations, maybe.

When you're worrying about how you'll afford them, Christmas can never come too early.

This Child Poverty Day, we’re looking ahead.

Knowing that 4 million families in the UK are living in poverty, we want to make it a little easier this Christmas.

At Inspire, were aiming to raise £8,000 to support children, young people and families, from gifts and essentials to vouchers that give young people the dignity and freedom to choose what they actually need or want.

Christmas should feel like Christmas. For everyone.

And together, we can help make sure it does.

Please donate what you can 👇

Sometimes, a little bit of extra help can make a big difference!

A huge thank you to .it , one of our community partners, for helping our Maker Zone team with five laptops so they can now be used during sessions.

It means more young people can get involved in coding, printing and CAD, opening up more chances to learn new skills and get creative.

Last night, our Seniors took part in Knife Savers Training delivered by Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, learning vital wound control and first aid skills that could help save a life in a serious emergency.

While we hope none of them ever need to use what they learned, the importance of having this knowledge cannot be underestimated. As one parent shared afterwards:

"Although children shouldn’t have to attend a workshop like this, it is absolutely necessary and incredibly important for them to have this knowledge."

We couldn't agree more.

We hope these skills never need to be used, but we're proud that our young people are better prepared should the unthinkable ever happen.

12/10/2026

Seniors, we really hope you NEVER need to use what you learn at this workshop.

In fact, if every single one of you walks away from this session and never uses these skills again, we’ll be delighted.

But…

If you were ever with a friend who was seriously injured, would you know what to do?

Would you know how to control severe bleeding?

What to do if someone had been stabbed?

What NOT to do?

How to help while you’re waiting for an ambulance?

Because in that moment, knowing could really matter.

That’s why we’ve got Lancashire Teaching Hospitals coming in today to deliver Knife Savers Training - a hands-on workshop teaching practical wound control and first aid for serious injuries.

It’s not because we think our you are going to find themselves in these situations.

It’s because we’d rather you know it and never need it, than need it and not know it.

The workshop will be available from 6pm today - Monday 12th Oct - for any senior members who would like to take part.

Come along and learn something that could genuinely save a life.
