What a fantastic Scuttlebrook Wake 2026! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who visited the Campden Home Nursing stall on Saturday. It was lovely to see so many familiar faces and meet new supporters too.

Our tombola proved as popular as ever, the lollipop game kept children entertained and our beautiful handmade gifts found some happy new homes. Thank you to everyone who took part, donated, purchased items or stopped by for a chat.

Congratulations and thanks to the Scuttlebrook Wake Committee and all the volunteers including ours whose hard work, dedication and community spirit made the day such a success. From the spectacular floats and creative fancy dress to the music, dancing and entertainment, it was a wonderful celebration of our community.

Thank you for supporting Campden Home Nursing and helping us continue providing compassionate end of life care free of charge, bereavement counselling and wellbeing services to local families.

We are already looking forward to next year! 🎭🎡🎶

The language of colour can sometimes help children express feelings and memories when words feel difficult. 🌈 In our theraputic play sessions, colour can become a gentle way for children to reflect and share. A colour may remind them of a person, a memory, a feeling or an important moment in their life.

Children may create bracelets representing family and friends or make a memory jar using layers of coloured sand. Each creation is unique. This memory jar was made by one of our clients.

Some children carefully place each colour exactly where they want it, thoughtfully keeping memories separate and distinct. Others choose to shake the jar, blending all the colours together as their memories and experiences combine. There is no right or wrong way.

The process itself can help children explore and express what matters to them in a safe therapeutic space.
