Date for your diary in Bretforton!

If you're looking for a lovely way to spend your Saturday morning, pop along to the Craft & Chat Group Table Top Sale at Bretforton Community Social Club.

Saturday 7th November 10 am – 12:30 pm

There’ll be lots to browse, including crafts and handmade goodies, gifts, bric-a-brac, cards for all occasions and books.

A big thank you to the organisers of the sale who've arranged it in support Campden Home Nursing. We are a local charity providing Hospice at Home care for people at the end of life in the comfort of their own homes, free of charge.

Thank you so much to the 14 guests who braved the rain to join us for lunch at Jecca's House.

A huge thank you to today's volunteers Marilyn and Jill who prepared and served a suitably autumnal menu of roasted tomato soup with a mouth-watering hotdog, followed by toffee apple crumble with cream, custard, or caramel sauce!

Delicious food, lovely company, and time to relax and catch up.

📅 The next Community Lunch is Wednesday 25 November. Followed by a special Christmas lunch on Wednesday 16 December. Book in advance please as places are limited.

Have you bought your Christmas cards yet? 🎄 If not, we've got just the thing!

Our gorgeous, unique Christmas cards are now on sale. Just £6 for a pack of 8 quality cards, featuring four beautiful designs, with two of each.

And these aren't just any Christmas cards! It's been said they'd look right at home in M & S! They started life at a block printing workshop run by Mooch the Cotswolds at Campden Home Nursing. Talented local graphic designer Michelle Shield kindly volunteered her time to work her magic on the original prints. And the fantastic Vale Press printed them locally.

Looking for a fun, spooky and free activity for the children this half term? 🍂

Come along to Campden Home Nursing charity shop, high street Chipping Campden, and have a go at counting the pumpkins in the window. Once you’ve counted them all, pop inside and collect a little treat from our lovely shop team.

It’s a perfect little Halloween adventure for younger visitors. Bring your little witches, wizards and spooky friends!

And while you’re here, grown-ups, why not have a browse too? There is a lovely selection of clothes and all sorts of interesting finds, with new items added regularly. You never know what little treasure you might discover.

Bring the family, enjoy a bit of Halloween fun, and support your local charity shop at the same time.

Heather and Paul Dowler, leaders of our Dementia Friendly Café, recently featured on BBC Breakfast!💚

Heather and Paul commented on new research into@devices to support people living with dementia. They shared their personal caregiving experiences and the wonderful work for people living with dementia and their carers across South Warwickshire and the North Cotswolds.

Join us at Campden Home Nursing, on the third Thursday of every month, 2-4pm. No booking needed - just pop in for a warm welcome, support and advice from Heather and Paul.
