Our Central Arts Association members, who are all Local Artists, had a lovely afternoon on Mon 8th June in Blossoms Coffee Shop/bistro in Torwood Garden Centre celebrating their 40th Anniversary with Kaye Adams STV Presenter & Journalist there as our Celebrity Guest and also Representatives from Strathcarron Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support Scotland
Central Arts wishes to express their sincere thanks to the owners of Torwood Garden Centre , the Stevenson family, and their members of staff for doing an excellent job of managing & catering for our event!
Also, Central Arts wishes to thank their many Facebook friends for attending their event today! = it was lovely to meet many of you again as well as new friends who we met for the first time! - some travelled a considerable distance and we greatly appreciated this!
Our oldest member, Anne Paterson, cut our Anniversary cake today. Anne has been a member of Central Arts since it was founded 40 years ago, she will be age 97 in October and is still painting lovely pictures.
Over the years, The Partnership between Torwood and Central Arts, has raised an incredible £12,432.50

After 25 years of our Central Arts Association members enjoying exhibiting in ''The Gallery'' at Gordon R McFarlane, Watchmaker, Jeweller & Art Gallery 41 Mill Street, Alloa we feel very sad that this beautiful venue will be closing soon but we all wish Neil McFarlane, the owner, many years of pleasure in his retirement.

We are very grateful & delighted! - The owners of Torwood Garden Centre , the Stevenson family, recently granted Central Arts Association this extra space to hang our members paintings in their "Rousays cafe" and we hung it today. This is an extension to our "Ongoing" exhibition of paintings in their Blossoms Coffee Shop/bistro in aid of Strathcarron Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support Scotland .....So far a whopping

Enjoy! - 18 new paintings were hung on 27th April in our Central Arts Association ''Ongoing'' charity exhibition in Blossoms Coffee Shop/bistro at Torwood Garden Centre in aid of Strathcarron Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support Scotland ....So far a whopping ❤ £12,402.10 ❤ has been raised for these 2 charities!...Thank you to our lovely customers for buying our paintings to help our fund raising efforts!
