NCT Chester NCT Chester is run by volunteers for expectant & new parents. All welcome It aims for parents to feel confident about their maternity
care.

NCT Chester is your local branch of the NCT (also known as the National Childbirth Trust), the UK's leading charity for parents. We are totally run by volunteers and run lots of events and services - from Nearly New Sales through to regular meet up/playgroup sessions such as Bumps & Babes, NCT Dads Group, Rainbow Babies as well as co-ordinating Breastfeeding Friendly Chester, a great, free local d

irectory of family friendly businesses in the local area. Every year the NCT supports thousands of people through the incredible life changing experience of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood. The NCT works to fulfil its mission and vision of enabling all parents in the UK to have an enriching experience of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood. Its purpose is to
provide support and evidence-based information in pregnancy, birth and early days of parenthood. It campaigns to improve the services and facilities for new parents, and provide essential services and information to give them a chance to make informed choices." The branch is run entirely by volunteers and we'd love some help!
We'd love to be able to restart Walk and Talks in Chester, to start a weekly bumps and babes group but we need new volunteers to help us.
Do you have some time to spare to lead a weekly or fortnightly walk? To be able to help out at our baby change and feeding tent at DevaFest over the summer? If you'd like to help us support parents please do get in touch for a chat 😀

Support can look like giving your time 🤝 NCT volunteers help bring support to life, creating welcoming spaces, running local groups, and helping parents feel more confident and connected in those early days.

You don’t need to have all the answers. Just a willingness to show up - we’ll support you every step of the way.
