Our aim at Chester Fairtrading is to raise both awareness of and accessibility to Fairtrade and ethically sourced goods that offer fair prices and uphold fair production standards for farmers, workers and artisans disadvantaged by global trade. Based in Wesley Church Centre, our Fairtrade Shop sells a wide variety of fairly traded products ranging from food items (including tea, coffee, preserves,
pasta, sugar and a huge array of Divine chocolate, just to name a few!) to ethically sourced crafts, gifts, homeware and accessories. Community outreach plays a key part in our work at Chester Fairtrading as we strive to develop connections and partnerships with community hubs throughout the city of Chester. We do this through:
- Pop-up stalls at markets, retirement homes, school fairs and community events
- The running of fun and engaging activity days for everyone to get involved in
- The provision of our fairly traded goods on a Sale or Return basis for a wide variety of schools, churches and social events
If any of these services interest you, you have any questions, or you're interested in joining the Chester Fairtrading team then please do come into the shop to say hello, drop us a Facebook message or email us at [email protected].
