Last week we saw our members, Chester Grosvenor 76 Round Table and Chester XRT joining together to clear up some of the litter along the canal.

Whilst we were pleasantly surprised at how little rubbish there was, we managed to fill six bags and worked up quite a thirst for a well earned pint at the end!

Last week we had a 'few of my favourite things' evening.

The idea is that everyone brings three copies of one of their 'favourite things' up to the value of £10. Everyone explains why this is one of their favourite things and then everyone swaps.

We had everything from books to sweets to travel gadgets - it was a great way to discover more about each other as well as getting some new goodies to take home!

Today we are featured on our national page. Being part of a national (and international) association gives us so many opportunities beyond Chester. From a friendly face and social life all over the country to opportunities to travel the world like a local, Ladies Circle is so much more than just our Chester group - but we are a good place to start!

Our Circle Spotlight for is Chester Ladies Circle

This lovely Circle is south of Liverpool and southwest of Manchester.

They like to throw clay around at a pottery workshop, put their detective hats on for a who-dun-it murder mystery evening, compete for gold at mini golf, test their strength with axe throwing and get to know their local area with a treasure hunt.

After a few of us were struck down by coughs, colds and otherwise in December, yesterday we got together for a belated Christmas meal.

Great way to shake off January blues and bonus points the month is almost over 👌
