The City of Belfast Rose Fair will take place in Sir Thomas & Lady Dixon Park between Friday 3rd and Sunday 5th July, 2026

The Rose Fair will be on from Friday 3 to Sunday 5 July 2026 in Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park.

Friends of Belfast Botanic Gardens will be having a pop-up plant sale beside the Global Medicine Garden at the top entrance to the Tropical Ravine this Sunday, 21st June from 11.00am to 1.00pm.

A selection of plants including trees, shrubs, herbaceous perennials and some house plants will be on sale.

We hope to see you there.

Just to let you know we still have some place availability for our August outing visiting private gardens in Co. Tyrone and Co. Fermanagh. The trip is open to Society Members, family, friends and also to non members. All details are on the flyer below. Just drop us an email if you would like to join with us for the day.

Ballymena Garden Club member Kay Rainey's garden at 46 Killane Road, Ahoghill, Ballymena, BT42 1JB will be open under the NGS Northern Ireland scheme on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July (2.00pm - 5.00pm). Admission £7. Light refreshments and plants will be available to purchase in aid of the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice.
Garden Description: A Bee and Butterfly haven, this recently extended garden has deep herbaceous borders. Generously repeated pops of colour delight the eye and creates a sense of rhythm. At the rear a wildlife pond and stone folly add interest and mature trees provide shade. Ornamental plants, tomatoes, vegetables and cut flowers are grown from seed. A stone path encircles the garden.
