🌿🛶 What an amazing day our cadets had at The Jungle NI taking part in a raft-building challenge! They put their teamwork, communication, and leadership skills to the test while having plenty of fun on the water.

A huge well done to everyone involved for their enthusiasm and effort. It was fantastic to see such great teamwork and some impressive raft designs throughout the day! 💪🌊

🚑🌟 **Carrickfergus Badgers & Cadets Social Evening 2026** 🌟🚑

It was wonderful to welcome so many parents, family members, and friends to our Social Evening as we celebrated the achievements of our amazing Badgers and Cadets.

Our Badgers proudly showcased their first aid and marching skills, as well as performing a fantastic short play on the importance of healthy eating.

Our Cadets demonstrated their first aid knowledge and skills, highlighting the hard work and dedication they have shown throughout the year.

We look forward to another successful year of learning, volunteering, and making a positive difference in our community. 💚

✨💚🌈 Colour Run 2026🌈💚✨

Carrickfergus Badgers and Cadets had a fantastic day at the Colour Run at Stormont Estate today!

From start to finish, the atmosphere was full of energy, laughter, and colour. Seeing everyone come together, covered in bright colours and huge smiles, made the day even more special.

We are incredibly proud to have taken part and to have helped raise money for such a worthwhile cause. Every step, every splash of colour, and every donation will make a difference.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported us, donated, cheered us on, and joined in the fun. It was a fantastic day filled with teamwork, community spirit, and plenty of memorable moments.

As Volunteers’ Week begins, Carrickfergus Cadet Unit would like to recognise and thank all the volunteers who generously give their time, energy and expertise to support young people across Northern Ireland.

Whether providing first aid at community events, supporting training activities, fundraising, or helping to deliver events, our volunteers make a lasting difference through their commitment, skills and compassion.

Their dedication strengthens communities, saves lives, inspires others, and empowers the next generation. We are proud to work alongside such outstanding individuals who continually go above and beyond to help those in need.

🥳 💚Badger Fun Day 2026💚 🥳

Carrickfergus Badgers had an absolutely fantastic day at Breckenhill, filled with a wide range of exciting outdoor activities and memorable experiences. From kayaking on the water to taking part in energetic games of battleships and kick the can, there was something for everyone to enjoy. We also had the opportunity to develop our teamwork and problem-solving skills through shelter building activities, which proved both challenging and rewarding.

The day was made even better with a delicious BBQ lunch, giving everyone the chance to relax, refuel, and enjoy time together outdoors.

It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm, laughter, and teamwork throughout the day. A huge thank you to everyone involved in making the experience so enjoyable and memorable! 🦡 🐾 💚

Join us this Volunteers’ Week at the Stormont Estate Belfast on Saturday 6th June for an unforgettable day of colour, music, and community as we raise vital funds for our Badgers & Cadets 💚

We loved having the Larne School of Highland Dancing in to visit our Badgers tonight!

We learned about the history behind the dances, how much skill and strength it takes, and even had a go at some of the moves ourselves!

A great start to our Healthy Badger Badge tonight! We explored how our amazing bodies work, learning about how different systems function and why each organ plays such an important role. Our Badges showed fantastic curiosity, asking thoughtful questions and really getting involved in the development of their person. It was brilliant to see everyone developing a better understanding of how to keep their bodies healthy and strong—well done, Badgers! 🦡🐾😍
