Carrick Connect was formed in November 2014 by Tracey & Jonny Ewart. Their vision was to provide a warm and safe environment in which young people can truly be themselves without judgement. After a decade we now have our very own premises, where we can run some of our bespoke programmes from. Connect 2 U - This is a free mentoring service for young people up to the age of 25. Connect 4 - Our free tutoring service for Key Stage 3 twice a week
Future-bound - Our brand new Primary Schools Project aimed at easing the transition to 'Big School' for P7 pupils along with tackling everyday issues such as Drugs & Alcohol abuse, Anti-Social Behavior and Self Confidence issues.

Our very last day at Silverstream Primary School and Nursery Unit today with our New Beginnings programme. We wish all of the P7 class the very best as they move forward into Year 8.. It's been a pleasure to spend time with you all ❤️

Some of our P7 class got their certificates today but some were at their new school day. We hope they had a great day. The Donuts went down a treat today with the class. Sad to say goodbye to these wee legends. We'll see them all again in a few weeks at their leavers assembly 🎉

Actions have consequences....
Due to ongoing conflict within our communities our two police constables of the Neighbourhood Policing Team could not attend our session today at Islandmagee Primary School as planned. A great session discussing all things Anti - social behaviour. More pics to follow of our celebration session and presentation of certificates later

We had great fun at our 10.12 club yesterday starting on our pictures. Please note that next Wednesday there will be no club but that we will be back on Wednesday 23rd June for a special treat. Sadly this will be our last week of 10.12 club 😢
This has been a well attended successful club and we are thankful to Clanmil Housing Association for funding this project. We hope that we will be able to continue this in September and will update you shortly.

Mr Baxter had great fun yesterday at Silverstream Primary School and Nursery Unit . Just ending our bullying sessions with a little bit of fun and Jonny is up for it totally 🤣
Enemy Pie was enjoyed alongside apple pies and cream with the P7 class. We hope that the message we try to deliver with this session will make for good positive choices for our young people in the years ahead and we believe fun can be incorporated in admidst the real serious stuff ⭐
