Carrickfergus YMCA Founded in 1873 Carrick YMCA is a local voluntary organisation that works with Children, young people, families and community.

Mission Statement

At Carrickfergus YMCA our mission is to demonstrate the Christian gospel by:

-Developing and sustaining a community of Christian people committed to the personal and social development (body, mind and spirit) of all children and young people in the Borough of Carrickfergus and to supporting their parents and carers.

-Engaging young people in active citizenship by providing educational, recreational and support programmes guided by Christian principles and delivered by appropriately trained leaders.

-Engaging young people in the development and management of programmes.

-Providing safe environments that are inviting, caring and accessible to young people.

-Providing practical support, information and advice to young people and their parents/carers.

-Entering into partnerships and consultations with other agencies to provide a range of services and facilities for the young people of Carrickfergus
