Anyone in or close to Monaghan who is pregnant or breastfeeding, this will be a lovely picnic with some fabulous breastfeeding support available from our Leaders.

Happy World Breastfeeding Week 2026! What a fantastic day celebrating 10 years of Breastival 🎉 La Leche League NI have attended every year since Breastival began and would like to thank the hard working organisers and volunteers who make Breastival happen and for welcoming us back every year.

We were delighted to have the opportunity to meet each and every one of you who came to our stall to say hello to us today. It was wonderful to hear your stories and we can’t wait to see some of you again at our next meeting in Ikea Belfast next week - 10:30-12:30 on Friday 7th August ☕️

Thank you also to all our local group members who travelled to Belfast especially for the celebration. We hope all who came had a great time and anyone who chatted with us knows a bit more about La Leche League 💙

We loved catching up with the other stall holders, it was amazing to see the warm chain of our village of breastfeeding support represented today 🥰

La Leche League Ireland Breastival

We are very excited to be attending Drumglass Park on Belfast’s Lisburn Road on Saturday 1st August to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Breastival. We've been attending Breastival since their first event in 2016 and they just keep getting better each year. Thank you to those behind Breastival for giving so much of your time to help families to celebrate breastfeeding.

Our Leaders will be there from 12pm-4pm, providing trained, evidence based breastfeeding support and information. There is also a fabulous lineup of entertainment for families.

Earlier this month we were honoured to receive a beautiful award from Breastival at their ‘More Than Milk’ event in Stormont after receiving some really amazing nominations from those who we have supported. Your words meant so much to us.

Come over and say hello to us at our stall to talk all things breastfeeding. We will be holding a free raffle every half hour for a copy of La Leche League’s ‘The Art of Breastfeeding’ book.
