1st Carrickfergus Scout Group Open to both Boys and Girls

Squirrels (Age 4-6) are our youngest members. Beaver Scouts (Age 6–8). Explorer Scouts (14-18)

Meet Friday evenings at the Amphitheatre Leisure Centre, Carrickfergus

Squirrels: 5:00pm – 5:45pm
Beavers: 5:45pm - 6:30pm
Cubs: 6:30pm – 7:15pm
Scouts: 7:15pm - 8:20pm They meet weekly to take part in a wide range of activities including games, crafts, good turns, along with plenty of outdoor activities. They meet weekly to take part in a wide range of activities including games, crafts

, singing, visits and good turns, along with plenty of outdoor activities. Cub Scouts (aged between 8 and 10 ½) take part in a wide range of activities designed to be interesting and challenging. A Cub Scout meeting consists of games and activities with plenty of time spent outdoors. Scouts (Age: 10½ and 14 years)

The Scouts are the third section in the Scout Group, above Beavers and Cubs. A Scout Troop is divided into small groups called Patrols, each headed up by an older Scout called a Patrol Leader, and often with an Assistant Patrol Leader.

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀❗️

Due to the 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 issued for Storm Éowyn tomorrow, all local Scouting activities are suspended while the warning remains in place. This includes regular meetings, outdoor activities, and events.

The safety of our members is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding.

👶 Ages: 4-6

Sessions will be a brilliant opportunity for your children to take their first step into being part of Scouts, and will help them get ready for the adventure of school too. They will be packed with activities, fun, games, badges, laughter, and so much more to help them learn the skills they need for life.
