Youth club is back this week!! Looking forward to seeing everyone after a few weeks break we’d love to see new and old faces!🥳

Last Thursday night at Teenager Club both groups set off on a Scavenger Hunt made for Glenfield!🗺️
The groups had to work together to decipher each clue, go to the spot they thought it was and get a team photo📸
While there, they were given a secret letter as well. Each clue had a letter and by the end they had to unscramble the letters to find the hidden word🕵️‍♂️🕵️‍♀️
The hidden word was COMMUNITY🙌 The teams did great and enjoyed themselves! It was also an easy way to get the steps in for the day😉

What a way to end the summer! A massive trip to Lake Kilrea🌊
The guys had so much fun, some conquered fears and others pushed themselves! Really great atmosphere about the wee group too!🤩
After we grabbed some food, chilled and had a great laugh! Wishing these guys all the best with starting back to school soon📚
We hope to see them around the YMCA once school starts and for summer next year!!!🥳🙌

Today was the final day of our Summer Shenanigans😢 We finished with a Guess Who quiz with baby photos and some bonus rounds🏆 Eva, Kelsey and Maisie tied for first with the quiz.🥇
Before our final competition we had a surprise dominoes for lunch which went down very well!🍕
Our final competition was a Foosball championship with Maisie taking the win!🙌 Tomorrow we head to Lake Kilrea as a final send off before school starts back! We’ve loved every minute of the shenanigans this summer🤩

Another great day for Drop In’s Summer!🤩 Today a pool tournament was held with a lot of young people pushing their skills to new heights, but we had our eventual winner Matthew🥇🎱
We also started our foosball tournament which will continue into Thursday to see who will become the champion🏆

With the new season upon us we want to invite you to test your managerial skills in a Carrick wide fantasy football league!🙌
This league is open to everyone, whether you’re a young person, parent or guardian⚽️ There will be a prize for the overall winner!🥇🏆

A great day for Drop In and a big scavenger hunt around Carrick!🗺️ A lovely day to get out and get the steps in while taking a journey around the town!📍
At the end, the two teams met up and went to celebrate with a Mauds, what’s better than that on a hot day?🍦

An eventful day yesterday at our Summer Shenanigans!🤩 We had two challenges take place. The first was an eating challenge🍟Each young person spun the wheel to see what they all had to do! This ranged from eating chilli’s, eating lemons with no reaction and drinking soda through a straw as fast as possible🥤 Rhys came out on top after winning the most challenges!
The second challenge was a Guess Who championship⁉️ Some very interesting strategies and questions from our young people😂 James came out on top which has him currently leading on the overall leaderboard🥇
