Here’s the wonderful Mandy Doble who at the age of 63, decided it was time for a new challenge, so she took on a charity skydive! 🪂

Mandy raised an incredible £600 for Community Clinics, where she works as a Community Health Care Support Worker.

HUGE thanks to Dunelm which has announced that its 2026 campaign will support our Wish Fund ⭐️

The Wish Fund creates magical memories for children & young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families 💚

The Dunlem Carmarthen tree is now in store and is hanging with 350 Wish Fund tags 🎄 Each tag provides details of a present requested by a child or young person supported by the Wish Fund 🎁

You can take a tag home to fulfil the request before returning the gift to the store by 12th December 2026 🧑‍🎄

More than 400 miles, three determined cyclists and one very special reason to keep going 💚

We’d like to say a huge congratulations and thank you to Lisa Mitchell, Diana Davies, and Huw Davies, who completed an incredible cycle from to in memory of their dear friend, Sonia Thomas 🚴‍♂️

The trio took on the challenge to raise funds for Ward 9, the Acute Stroke Unit, at Prince Philip Hospital as a thanks for the care Sonia received – and raised an incredible £4,360.75.

Hospital stays can be challenging for children and young people, which is why we're delighted to have funded a new RockinR gaming cart for Cilgerran Ward at Hospital! 🎮

Worth over £2,900, the gaming cart provides exciting play and recreation opportunities for young patients staying on the ward or visiting as outpatients 🕹️

We’d like to spotlight the amazing work the Youth Support Service has recently done for Cilgerran Ward at Hospital 😊

Katie Morgan, Youth Justice Education Officer, said: “The children from the youth support service worked on a community and charity challenge in a Summer Life Skills Programme over the summer holidays.

“They wanted to make a creative bench to give to the children’s ward garden so families can have somewhere creative to sit outside during their time in hospital. They have all worked really hard to design, build and create the bench which we all hope the children’s ward will love, as they have loved being part of making it.”

Well done all, we really appreciated your support and hard work!

A tractor run held in memory of Adrian Thomas has raised an incredible £5,927.50 for the Chemotherapy Day Unit at Glangwili Hospital 🚜💚

Organised by Adrian's wife, Ann, and children, Heledd and Alwyn, the event brought together 105 tractors

Congratulations to Peter and Janet James on celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary! 💐

Instead of gifts, the couple asked friends and family to donate to the Head and Neck Cancer Service, raising an incredible £900.

The donation is a heartfelt thank you for the care Peter received from staff on Merlin Ward and the Speech and Language Therapy team at Glangwili Hospital.
