An Update on the Callander Old Primary School Project.
After careful investigation through an independent feasibility study, Callander Community Development Trust has taken the difficult decision not to proceed with plans to convert the old Primary School into a Community, Arts, Education and Training Centre.
We know this will be disappointing news for many, and we don't take it lightly. But the Trust would not want to take on a project that could later become a financial burden to the Callander community, due to the ongoing costs of keeping the building running and operational.
We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey- Callander Community Council, Stirling Council, our Architects, our funders, etc, our volunteers , and of course the many members of the Callander community who shared their views, ideas and support throughout the process.
