🌱On this weekend the Autumn Show and Harvest Festival with
Climate Action Callander - CAC. Taking place on Saturday 12th September 2026 - timings below. A chance to share your hard work from the garden, bring your apples to get pressed to some juice or come along for some autumnal festivities.
Reminder - Entries to the show are completely FREE of charge and open to everyone. Whether you are a Callander resident or joining us from further afield. More details below.
Location: Callander Youth Project, Bridgend, Callander
Admission: Entry by donation
✨Key Timings for the Day:
9:30AM–10:30AM: Drop off entries
11:00AM–12:00PM: Judging (Hall closed)
1:00PM–4:00PM: 'Harvest Festival' & Public Viewing
3:30PM: Presentation of Awards
🍎What’s happening throughout the day:
Apple Pressing: Bring your own apples and bottles to press fresh juice!
Harvest Festival & Public Viewing: Admire local harvest produce and displays, enjoy seasonal art activities, and delicious autumnal bakes and a cuppa will be available.
Awards: Celebrating the local talent at the afternoon presentation.

🌸🌻Quick Update: Callander in Bloom – Digital Photography Competition🌻🌸
There’s still time to capture the beauty of our area and enter this year’s Callander in Bloom digital photography competition. The deadline is now extended to midnight on Sunday 6th September, we’re inviting gardeners, walkers and keen photographers alike to share their favourite local floral moments — from vibrant garden displays to the quiet charm of wild blooms.

🌱 Calling all growers, bakers, creators, and visitors! Just 5 weeks to go to the Autumn Show! 🍎

The countdown is on! Alongside Climate Action Callander - CAC we’re excited to invite you to this year’s Autumn Show & Harvest Festival, happening in 5 weeks time on Saturday 12th September 2026 - save the date. A chance to share your hard work from the garden, bring your apples to get pressed to some juice or come along for some autumnal festivities.

Thanks to everyone who came along to Friday's Pressing Matters event at the Kirk Hall alongside Climate Action Callander - CAC and many others! Lots of apples from the community orchard at McLaren Leisure Centre, plus from across Callander gardens, were pressed into delicious juice🍏It's great to have a now have a press available locally - get in touch if you'd like to know more 🍎Thanks FEL Scotland for the funding support which helped to make this happen!

Come join us for a cuppa fresh apple juice tomorrow! Plus much more!

🍎🍂 PRESSING MATTERS: Apples, Action & Autumn Plans 🍂🍎
Join us for a community drop-in event at Kirk Hall, Callander!
📅 Friday 19th September | 11am-7pm (drop in anytime)
🍎CADHS Apple Pressing (3-6pm) - Bring your apples (and bottles) for fresh pressing or come and sample some juice from community orchard apples! 🍎

🌱PLUS Help us shape the future of the society - come along and share your thoughts and be in with chance of winning some wonderful prizes! We've got two apple trees and two blueberry bushes to giveaway! 🌳✨
