Come along to Serpentine Community Garden for FREE nature fun with Creeping Toad. You can also see the fabulous flowerpot characters our and families made with Funny Wonders.
☆Wednesday 27th May 12noon to 3pm ☆
outside at the picnic tables, Trackside, Buxton Brewery (£2 per child suggested donation to )

Pop along to the Pop Up ReUse Stall with Transition Buxton at Buxton spring fair . As well as children’s bikes, they have a few Winnie The Pooh’s, Piglets and Tiggers needing a new family, a beautiful horse and Noah’s Ark. Take a bag to take your new-to-you items home. Lots of other home items for all ages too, go and see for yourself.

Children will love the at Buxton this Monday.
Many fabulous local organisations have stalls there, say hello to them and find out what they get up to and how your family can get involved.

On Bank Holiday Monday - 4 May - the Bogtastic van will be at Buxton Market Place as part of Buxton Spring Fair. Make sure you come on down and find out about the wonders of peatland, and how you can help to protect it.

Today is World Earth Day.

Here at High Peak Baby Bank, we love the fact that most of the items we have are being reused, reloved by families.

Although it isn't always the side of what we do that we talk about, we keep thousands of items, including clothing, hard plastics (high chairs, baby baths etc) wooden cots and prams and pushchairs, out of landfill. All these items are donated to us, then given out to families who use them and then can hand them on again: they are being reused and helping other families within our local community.

World Earth Day is all about doing your bit to help our planet - visit us at the Buxton Community Hub - 'Free to use' Baby & Clothing Bank and help us all do our part to protect our planet.

Serpentine Community Garden have been “growing plants and growing people”. Here’s one of their children excited to see tadpoles at their a few years ago and then this week, all grown up, discovering the lifecycle of a frog by the wildlife pond they created at . What’s in the pond? Well Creeping Toad brought them some frogspawn, so tadpoles are on their way soon.
is OPEN TO ALL VISITORS SUNDAY AFTERNOONS 2-4. Pop along to explore Buxton’s not-a-secret garden.
