We would like your help!

We require 2 or more large whiteboards for our primary training rooms. Would anyone in our network have or know of someone that would have these and would be willing to donate them to the unit?

These will help in creating a tidy and active training environment for our cadets. As you can see currently we have several moveable flipchart boards that we would like to replace with a large wall mounted whiteboard.

8 new Bronze Buxton Sea Cadets! 🥉🏔️

Teamwork makes the dream work! 🏔️ Massive congratulations to our 8 Buxton cadets and 3 Bollington cadets for successfully smashing their Bronze expedition this weekend.
From navigating the rugged terrain of The Roaches to surviving the super Saturday 18km day! These 11 cadets showed incredible grit and spirit. Even with a spring finish! Bronze looks good on you all! 🥉✨See you at Silver!

Two of our Able Cadets helped their Manchester District peers at the weekend by acting as squad and class members for the Leading Cadet promotion board, can you spot them?

Their excellent behaviour and willingness to join in has set them in great stead for their promotion board later in the year and strengthens our connection with our neighbouring district!

Today, cadets from Manchester & Chestaffs District Sea Cadets attended their Leading Cadet & Petty Officer Cadet Promotion Boards at Manchester Trafalgar Sea Cadets.

A massive BZ to all the cadets who attended this intense assessment day, and our congratulations to those who passed and are now eligible for promotion to the next rate.

Thank you to all the Adult Volunteers who made the day happen, and to other cadets who supported.

Remembrance Day Parade 2025

All cadets and volunteers of Buxton Sea Cadets proudly lead the uniformed cadet forces on parade, representing the cadet community and the Royal Navy.

The ships company conducted themselves impeccably and were commended by the dignitaries in attendance for their smart turnout. Well done all!
