COGS Prepares 4 Life CIO is a day opportunities centre for adults with additional needs. https://twitter.com/COGS_Gardening Follow us!

We promote social inclusion, independance and life skills by teaching English, maths and IT in our classroom, gardening, machine maintenance, woodwork and cooking. By being part of COGS Prepares 4 Life CIO, people with a learning disability can gain skills, confidence and opportunity. We use gardening, woodwork, machine maintainance and independant living skills such as cooking and shopping as the medium for people to gain these vocational and life skills. By being part of COGS Prepares 4 Life CIO, the gardeners become more able to socially interact, have a much higher profile in their community and feelings of self worth are raised.
