We’re excited to share that our much‑loved Baby Play and Inbetweeners groups are joining together as one welcoming session: Babies, Crawlers and Cruisers.

This new name reflects the lovely mix of developmental stages in the group - from tiny babies to busy crawlers and early cruisers - all exploring, playing and learning side by side.

There are a few spaces left on the Creative Burntwood Early Years Workshops that start tomorrow at Spark. Book your space on the link below.

Last year, Creative Burntwood delivered 21 FREE sessions at SPARK. After listening to families who said they’d love the workshops to run throughout the year, they’ve expanded the programme to 39 workshops in Year 2 ✨

To help make this larger programme sustainable, Creative Burntwood are introducing a Pay As You Can contribution option. You can still attend for FREE, but if you’re able to contribute, there are two optional payment choices for the September–December block:

• £1 per session (£12 total)
• £2 per session (£24 total)

Every contribution - no matter the amount - helps Creative Burntwood continue providing these valuable sessions for local families

💛About the Workshops

• Tuesdays, 12–1pm at Spark
• Suitable for babies, toddlers and pre‑schoolers aged 6 months to 4 years, with their grown‑up.
• Booking a place gives you access to all Tuesday workshops from September–December 2026

September: 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th
October: 6th, 13th
November: 10th, 17th, 24th
December: 1st, 8th, 15th

Today we have Chasewater Strollers walk starting from St Anne's.
It's the perfect weather and perfect day to start something new 😀
If you have not been before it's an hours walk with pushchairs/slings etc at Chasewater Country Park followed by a stay and play in St Anne's Church, Chasetown.
You can come to the walk or the stay and play or both!
Do whatever suits you. If you come for the walk park up at the Church and be ready to leave for 9.45. If you come for stay and play arrive from 10.45.
The lovely Andy and Deb run the walk and and Elaine, Cal, Sue and Sarah run the stay and play.
They are all wonderful Spark volunteers and would love to meet you.

So goodbye summer.... hello autumn!

This is a weekly timetable - from the 14th September some other groups are returning and some are in a different format. Some sessions run weekly, or monthly or one offs. So we know some of you like to share - but this isn't the finished article so maybe hang fire for a week or two for the ongoing timetable.

We've got team members moving around and we are bringing in a few tweaks here and there - so a big thank you to everyone working behind the scenes to make it all happen! You are stars and we can't wait to have another great term of special times together.
🌟We're mixing it up with Baby Play and Inbetweeners at Chase Terrace Community Centre on Tuesdays.
🌟Sparky's Den will be changing format and moving to a Thursday more details soon.
🌟SPLAT will be moving to a Thursday afternoon again more details soon.
🌟 Housing Help Drop in at Spark this Wednesday morning - pop in with any rental or housing issues. Housing Help Drop-In
You can also drop in any Wednesday morning for 1 to 1 help, questions or info you need or if you are new to Spark.
