Head down for advice on energy bills and how to save money with the rising cost of living. This Saturday morning at Walsall Arboretum

💡 Looking for ways to save on your energy bills?

Our Walsall's Walsall Energy Action Project team ( ) will be at the Arboretum this weekend with a FREE drop-in session to help you make your home more energy efficient.

Pop by for friendly, 1‑to‑1 advice, practical tips, and to find out what support is available locally - with fun activities and outdoor demos too!

Pelsall Village Centre is hosting a household goods and bric a brac sale on 16th June at 12.30PM! 🗓️

Viewings will take place the day before on Monday 15th June and donations of items for the auction are welcome up until the day. Sadly we cannot accept large furniture or items of clothing.

Cool down and have fun at the same time in the Splash Pads open now in two parks!

We’re excited to share that Walsall’s popular Splash Pads at Walsall Arboretum and Willenhall Memorial Park are now open for summer 2026! 💦☀️

From Saturday 23 May until Sunday 30 August 2026, families can enjoy FREE water fun with fountains, water cannons and spray jets – perfect for cooling off in the warmer weather.

📍 Walsall Arboretum Splash Pad
📍 Willenhall Memorial Park Splash Pad

Opening times:
◼️ Weekends, bank holidays & school holidays: 11am – 5pm
◼️ Weekdays (outside school holidays): 11am – 3pm

Adult supervision is strongly recommended, particularly for younger children.

Please note: the splash pad at King George V Park will not reopen this year due to ongoing improvement works taking place at the park.

So grab a towel and head down for some family fun this summer! 🌊

After our Well-being Walk, we will be doing some light gardening with volunteers at the CHART Centre. 🌱

If anyone would like to join us, you are very welcome. We will have a speaker with some music, plus hot drinks and biscuits for everyone. ☕🍪

This is a lovely opportunity to come together, meet new people, and help improve the garden for our community.

Everyone is welcome, especially anyone who is passionate about making our outdoor space bright, welcoming, and beautiful. 💚
