What a fabulous night!! 🎤🎟️🍾
Our first Burnley Panto’s quiz and cabaret night was an absolute blast!
Huge thanks to Lowerhouse Cricket Club for their hospitality! A brilliant venue and the most helpful bar staff. 🥰
Thanks to all our fabulous cabaret singers, most of whom were children, the youngest being 8! It takes huge guts to stand up in front of 130 people, no costume, no stage lights blocking out the faces, no character to hide behind and they all did themselves (and us) proud. Our society is in very safe hands! 🤩
To the one and only quiz master Bee Roberts (of St Paul's School Disco - Band fame) who led us triumphantly through the evening, and our music man, Tom, for whom nothing is ever too much. You were both magnificent and we are so grateful not only for last night, but to have you in the BPS team!
Thanks to the Wharfs for the letting us use their Act One Beginners tech gear and equipping so many of our young performers with the confidence to stand up and sing!
Susan, Christine and the best raffle team this side of the North West… Thankyou for being your usual organised selves and sorting us out. We couldn’t have done it without you!
And to every one of the wonderful people who made last night possible, from buying tickets, to bringing food and raffle prizes, to donating hard earned money to this very worthy cause. We haven’t got a confirmed total yet but we made around £1200 for Pendleside Hospice to add to Kevin David’s running total. 🥳😱
