We're Hiring: Mediation Case Coordinator 🌟

Are you organised, people-focused and passionate about making a difference?

We're looking for a Mediation Case Coordinator to join our friendly team at Smile Mediation.

This is a rewarding role at the heart of our organisation, supporting people as they navigate conflict and helping our mediation services run smoothly.

You'll work closely with clients, volunteer mediators and colleagues to coordinate cases and make a real impact in communities across the UK.

📍 Burnley, Lancashire
⏰ 18 hours per week (across 3 days)
📅 Application deadline: Monday 8th June 2026, 5pm

We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and experience in administration, coordination, or customer service.

We’re bringing Burnley residents together to share their ideas!

Smile Mediation has secured £3,000 from the Our Town Our Plan capacity fund to support community engagement as part of Burnley’s 10-year vision through the £20 million Plan for Neighbourhoods programme.

On the morning of 28th October 2025, we’ll be at The Chai Centre, Burnley, chatting with residents, listening to their ideas, and running fun, interactive activities to help shape the town’s future.

This is all about hearing your thoughts, hopes, and suggestions for what Burnley could look like in 2035. Your voice will help inform the Burnley Town Board and ensure the community has a say in the priorities for the town.

Join Smile Mediation as a Trustee!

We are an established charity with 27 years’ experience supporting people to resolve conflict & improve relationships. We are looking to strengthen our Board with the appointment of two voluntary Trustees who can bring strategic insight, independent judgement & a commitment to our mission.

We’re keen to hear from people who can bring a range of experiences & perspectives. Ideally, we’d like to appoint at least one Trustee who is local to East Lancashire & we’re also interested in candidates with one or more of the following:

Business experience & community links
Experience of business or charity growth & development
Knowledge of the charity sector
Experience of working at a regional or UK-wide level

We are committed to building a Board that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve. Applications are encouraged from people of all ages, backgrounds & lived experiences including those who may not have considered a trustee role before. Training & support will be provided.
