Big pots, plenty of flavour and teamwork behind every stir! 🍲🔥

The cooking station was busy at BWA’s Great Garden Festival, with the team preparing a feast to bring everyone together. From adding the rice to lifting the lid on those bubbling pots, here’s a little look at the work behind the food. 💚🌿

A huge thank you to everyone who helped with the cooking — feeding the community takes many hands and a lot of heart! 🙌

🍂🌿 From Autumn Harvest to Spring Blooms! 🌷🌼

We have enjoyed a wonderful autumn harvest at our allotments today! 🌱 Our lovely ladies have worked so hard throughout the summer and into autumn, nurturing their plants and caring for the garden with so much love and dedication.

Today, we celebrated an early harvest of fresh coriander, mustard leaves, vibrant chard and some lovely mint. 🌿🥬 It is wonderful to see the fruits of their hard work growing and flourishing.

As we move into the winter months, our ladies will continue to care for the allotments, preparing the soil, planting flower bulbs and getting everything ready for the new season. 🌷🪻 Even through the colder days, there will be plenty to do as we look forward to the magic of spring.

With patience, teamwork and a little sunshine, those bulbs will soon awaken, bringing beautiful colours and fresh blooms to brighten our allotments in early spring. 🌸🌼

From harvesting autumn greens to planting the promise of spring — our garden journey continues, one season at a time! 💚🌱

Before the Great Garden Festival, there was a trolley to fill! 🛒🌿

A little look behind the scenes as the BWA team stocked up on ingredients for the day. Good food brings people together, and it all starts with a shopping list and a bit of teamwork! Thank you to everyone who helped make it happen. 💚

It’s sad to see Fabric of Us come to an end, but we’re grateful that we can continue with the embroidery, as it will take a little longer to complete. A heartfelt thank you to Fabric of Us, Julia, and New Neighbours Together for all your support, creativity, and encouragement.

🌿✨ A wonderful afternoon at Pennine Lancashire Farm! ✨🌿

Today, our staff had the pleasure of attending our partners’ Open Day at Pennine Lancashire Farm, and what a fantastic afternoon it was! 🐴💚

Our team had great fun getting involved in the in-house workshops, from weaving and air-dry clay art to spending time with the horses enjoying their yummy treats! 🐎🥕 We even took some time to check our blood pressures. ❤️

A huge thank you to Pennine Lancashire Farm for the wonderful invitation and warm welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and look forward to working together on more exciting and meaningful projects in the near future. 🌱🤝

Here’s to more great partnerships and shared experiences! 💚✨
