Have you contemplated attending one of the Nattershack events but might be a bit hesitant. Richard, aka Mr Waistcoat found the Nattershack when he was new Burnley and knew no one. He now attends 6 events a week and has never looked back.
I want to share his recommendation of the scheme. Thank you Richard.
Still at it! (Even with the roadworks)
I’m going to 6 a week now,
No family (just my Nattershack friends) up ere in Burnley.
Gives me a reason to get up/dressed in the mornings.
Gives me a good reason to go out and meet &
talk to new peeps.
(Retired, on mobility scooters for 5 years until recently)
1 x Mondays am
1 x Mondays pm
Tuesdays am
Wednesdays am
Thursdays am
Fridays am
Different peeps at each venue (some overlapping)
Spent COVID Shielding & talking to the walls!, fortunately they didn’t answer back😁
Keeps me sane(ish)
Without the ‘The Natter Shack Scene’ I’d be home watching telly and be ‘Billy no mates’
Best thing I ever did was go to my first Nattershack in Colne 2019.
Perhaps you’ll join me at Prairie Sports Village on a Tuesday and see for yourself.
(Added bonus, Excellent food there)
