EXCITING NEWS FOR AUTISM ROCKS (FIFE)!

We are absolutely delighted to share some fantastic news about the future of Autism Rocks (Fife) and our home in Buckhaven!
We have been successful in gaining funding towards the refurbishment of the former Buckhaven and Wemyss Parish Church, helping us take another huge step towards creating an enhanced, welcoming and inclusive community hub for autistic people and their families.
After calling this building our home for the past 10 years, Autism Rocks recently reached an incredible milestone by taking full ownership of the building.
Now, we have the opportunity to start building an even brighter future.
The Autism Rocks project will build upon work already planned through the Buckhaven Heritage Project, allowing selected refurbishment works to be carried out to the ground floor of the main church building.
This is about so much more than improving a building.
It's about creating opportunities.
It's about providing safe and welcoming spaces.
It's about supporting autistic people and their families.
It's about securing the future of Autism Rocks in our community.
And it's about turning a much-loved historic building into a community hub that can continue making a difference for many years to come.
For a small charity that started with a simple vision of bringing autistic families together, reaching this point means more than we can put into words.
There is still lots of work ahead, but today we are celebrating another HUGE step forward!
A massive THANK YOU to everyone who continues to believe in Autism Rocks (Fife), support what we do and help us grow.
The next chapter of Autism Rocks is beginning… and we can't wait to take you all on the journey with us! ❤️❤️

Good morning everyone .

We would really appreciate any support you can give us to help in getting us to the top spot in the Cash for kids community challenge. Through the month of July we have held numerous fundraising events to raise as much as we can, but we are now on the last few days of July and could really use some support. Some of the volunteers from Autism Rocks are doing a sponsored walk on the 19th July 2026 at Lochore Meadows, starting at 11.00am. The walk is just over 3miles.

We would love to be joined by some of our Autism Rocks members who would be willing to help raise funds to help with the alterations and equipment required for the Church.

Good evening everyone. Some of the volunteers are doing a car boot sale on the 26th July. As you will have seen from previous posts, we have been lucky to have been invited to take part in the Cash 4 kids community challenge. We are trying to raise as much money in the month of July, so that hopefully, we will be the top fundraisers and be awarded an extra £4000 on top of what we raise. This would be amazing for us.

We are looking for donations to sell at the car boot sale. If you have items that you would kindly like to donate to help us in our efforts, we would be very grateful. You can drop these items off with us at Autism Rocks, Randolph Street, Buckhaven.

Best times for drop off are listed below:-

Tuesdays, Youth Group 5.30 - 7pm
Wednesday, Drop in session 10.30am - 1pm
Thursday, Drop in session 10.30am -1pm
Friday, Teen and Adult Group, 6 - 8pm
Saturday, Family Session 10am - 1pm
