Hi all!
During the month of August my mum is between work and is looking for either a temp/short-contract job or multiple little jobs, anything to keep those bills being paid ha! She is a qualified school teacher but is open to most things as long as it’s weekdays, day-time work. Ideally around Torbay or nearby areas (she drives). Please spread the word or let me know if you hear of anything!

Normal service to resume, just trying to make time for me at the moment to litter-pick is becoming a challenge haha!

Hi guys!

I know I did a post on here a little while ago seeing if anyone had any odd jobs they might need a hand with; life is definitely life for a lot of us at the moment, so just looking to see if I could get a few more pennies to help things.

Well I have some spare weekends/evenings coming up so please give me a shout if you need any help weeding, sorting, vinted listing, decluttering etc… in Brixham or nearby! One-off type jobs only at the moment as I cannot commit long term due to well, life being life ha!

Please ignore this is if you are just here for the litter picking haha!

Some photos from yesterday - we totalled 218 bags of rubbish, tipped garden waste and invasive species as well as a huge pile of dumped items (TV, small mattress, roll of carpet, animal hutch, stack of garden chairs…) Excellent day, I look forward to trying to spot myself on the telly later this year!

Today I met Stacey Dooley!

I joined the amazing El & Ash at Clean Our Patch CIC cleaning up some neglected woodlands. (You guys are blooming awesome and thank you for officially inviting me into your COP family, I’ll wear my tee with pride!) With the BBC and tonnes of equally amazing volunteers, it was a full day of hard work and lots of smiles.
An amazing day getting very wet and muddy, finding all sorts and making new friends. I’ll do a proper post tomorrow with some more photos but needed to post something as I sit on the bus home caked in mud but very content.
~ There was a Hannah before I moved down here who wouldn’t say boo to a goose and was very anxious. Moving across the country and starting a fresh has really made me, ME and joining the litter picking community has helped me grow as a person in more ways than one. Exploring new places alone, talking and meeting new people, just going with the flow. Something many probably take for granted but for me knowing where I used to be, I am very happy with the person I am today. (Though I may still have kinda gotten nervous with Stacey and for once was lost for words ha!)

Thank you to Keep Britain Tidy for my lovely certificate for National Volunteers Week. Having been a volunteer in various roles since a very young age, I appreciate every single person that puts in the hours volunteering and equally value the communities I am honoured to be apart of.

Beautiful walk this morning before it got too hot! Did the monthly dog poo bag walk. Half a bag of rubbish collected, lots of people around but not crazy amounts of rubbish, which is great to see! 22 dog poo bags binned today plus 12 from a walk earlier in the month equals;
