Another day, another survey... (there have been a lot of them recently) so brace yourself... ready?
It's a good one!

Don't miss this opportunity to make your views known about Brixham town centre's heritage - now and into the future - and shape the Brixham Town Conservation Area Management Plan.

Brixham's town centre heritage is so important to our community, Brixham's history and identity, pride in our place and what the town feels like to live in and to visit. What do you value about it? What do you think should be priorities for the future? Helen Ambler - Community Builder for Brixham - has been out and about bringing people into the conversation.

Every voice adds to the value of this survey - add yours!

Double Bill Storytelling Performance: ‘23 Words’ & ‘Jane Eyre’

Experience a compelling evening of live storytelling with two critically acclaimed performances brought together for the first time. Both shows premiered to critical acclaim at Barnstaple TheatreFest 2023.

Suited Storytellers – Rosamund Clare and Katy Lee – present ‘23 Words’, a bold reimagining of Chaucer’s The Wyfe of Bath’s Tale. Their performance explores the enduring question: “What is it women most want in the world?”, challenging historical and contemporary representations of women.

Tanya Landman, award-winning author and seasoned performer, offers a fresh perspective on Jane Eyre. In this solo show, an older, wiser Jane reflects on her past with wit and insight, focusing on the life of the second Mrs Rochester.

Coming to Brixham Library on Friday 6th March, 7:30-9pm!

Open to all, whether you’re curious/ new to sketching or more experienced.

We will start and finish at A Kick Up the Arts gallery at 6, Bolton Street. We’ll guide you through, but you are free to experiment as much as you like. We guarantee you’ll see Brixham a little differently afterwards!

REMINDER: TONIGHT 7PM at Berry Head Hotel

HEADS UP! Brixham Chamber of Commerce are hosting an open meeting on Tuesday 23rd Sep 7pm at Berry Head Hotel.

Torbay Council is presenting its plans for a multi-storey parking structure in Brixham Central Car Park.

We understand the Council aim to submit a planning application in November. If so, that's a very fast turnaround... so let's all have a good look at the proposals while we can.

We'd like to see the evidence base for the numbers of additional car parking spaces proposed - show us the data! - and to hear dates and times for the Council's consultation process with Brixham citizens prior to any planning application being submitted.

Please share widely, as a lot of people don't seem to know yet about this idea for a multi-storey structure.
