Supporting your local Foodbank doesn’t have to mean making a large donation.

£5 from one person may not feel enormous.
But £5 from 20 people is £100.

And where eligible donors add Gift Aid, those donations can go even further.

If you are already doing a food shop and would like to support Brixham Food Bank, one simple option is to add an extra item from the current needs list.

There is no need for a huge shop or complicated collection. A small, practical contribution can be added to what other local people are giving and help keep the appeal moving.

“Does Gift Aid mean I have to donate more?”

No.

If you’re eligible, Gift Aid simply allows Brixham Foodbank to claim additional money on top of your donation.

So if you give £1, Gift Aid can turn it into £1.25.

You’ll need to be a UK taxpayer and have paid enough Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover the Gift Aid claimed on your donations.
