We love celebrating festivals at SCFT Nurseries and at Hilltop this week we have been looking at the festival Onam. We have looked at all the beautiful patterns and created our own by colouring in using lots of brights colours.

We had a very special visitor come to visit us at Butterfly Nursery for “the people who help us topic!” We had Lucy from the Dental team come to talk to us about keeping our teeth healthy and read us a special book about “Hedgy going to the dentist!” She brought a very special friend with her who needed some help brushing their teeth so we showed them how good we are at brushing our teeth by helping them brush their teeth!

We had a very exciting visitor come to see us at Butterfly! Her name was Julie McDonald and she is the author of the Series of books based on a hedgehog called Hedgy. Hedgy is starting school and Julie came in to read the story to all our school leavers and preschoolers. The children loved listening to the story and looking at the special props Julie brought in. We love Hedgy and cannot wait to see what adventures Hedgy goes on soon.
