The Regency Society is the oldest amenity and conservation society in Brighton and Hove and a registered charity. www.regencysociety.org

In the wake of World War II, Britain was swept by a desire to modernise – and Brunswick Square, Brunswick Terrace and Adelaide Crescent were destined to be replaced by high-rise blocks until a group of passionate conservationists stepped in. They became the Regency Society of Brighton and Hove and helped to win the argument that we should treasure and preserve the best of our past. One of our roles is to campaign for equally high standards when new development is mooted.

🗓️ Tickets are now available for our Heritage Open Day guided tours on Saturday 19 September, with tours taking place at 16:00 and 17:00.
Housed within the Victorian arches beneath Brighton Railway Station, Brighton Toy and Model Museum is home to more than 12,000 toys and models, including model trains, construction sets, dolls, puppets and teddy bears. 🧸
Our special Heritage Open Day tours offer an opportunity to discover more about the history of the museum, its unusual setting and the remarkable collections it houses.
Places are limited and advance booking is recommended. Tickets can be booked through the Heritage Open Days website or via our own website.

Two years ago this street sign, each letter of the name consisting of a single ceramic tile, was in dire condition. It has since been beautifully restored in the same materials. Where is it?
