The Surbiton RBL Youth Marching Band is a charity organisation giving young people the opportunity to learn music and enjoy new experiences. 🥁🎶 Band members are aged between 9-25, with older members providing tuition for the younger. This supporters page has been set up by the band's fundraising committee, as a place to share information about fo

rthcoming band events with friends and family of band members, and to act as an archive for photos and video of the band.

🇬🇧 National Marching Music Day 2026 🇬🇧

28th June 2026

Less than ONE week to go until the band head into the capital for national marching music day organised by London Band Week

We are number 11 in the running order and march down The Mall, along Spur Road, down Birdcage Walk and along to Horse Guards Parade. We will march off at approximately 13:20pm.

Our corps of drums will then take part in the DrumLine Battle at Horse Guards Parade (we need as much support as possible).

We’d love to see all your photos and videos from the day as well so make sure you tag the band or use


Please be aware there may be road closures in place on the day so plan ahead!

The band spent part of today playing at Surbitonian Gardens for the residents.

We would also like to say happy Father’s Day to all the Dads in the band, parents and supporters. You all contribute to helping us do what we do!

If you know someone between ages of 7-21 who would like to learn an instrument then get in touch.

We provide:

Instrument loan
Music theory, playing and drill tuition
Social activities
Certificates on completion,

You:

No experience or music knowledge required!
Enthusiastic about learning to march!
Ready to meet new friends!

All of this for only £20 per year!

🎶🇬🇧 NATIONAL MARCHING MUSIC DAY 2026 🇬🇧🎶

Join us in London as bands from across the country (and USA) come together to celebrate the incredible tradition of marching music. The event begins at 1:00pm, and we’ll be proudly marching down The Mall as part of this spectacular celebration.

Following the parade, our Corps of Drums will be taking part in the highly anticipated Drumline Battle, showcasing their skill, precision, and musical talent against other drumlines from across the UK.

If you’re in London, we’d love to see plenty of familiar faces cheering us on from the sidelines. Bring your family and friends and help us make some noise.

Here they are!

Surbiton RBL Stitch and Natter Group have created these amazing toppers that have been put up along the front of The Surbiton RBL Club.

The group are raising funds for the band and donations can be made via the QR codes on the posts, the bucket at the Surbiton RBL bar or via the bands gofundme page.

Although they look great in the picture they look even BETTER in person so please if you have chance head down to the club to have a look and donate if you can.
