We coach boxing and martial arts for so many reasons, here are a few -
- Boxing and martial arts skills are great to learn. The journey is never ending.
- You get an all over conditioning workout from training in boxing and martials arts.
- βCore and functional strength helps you in real life too, in work, in play, and in your training.
- The character benefits are huge, such as real self-belief, confidence and grit.
- The relatively safe challenges and opportunities to fail and learn will help you come back stronger.
- Learning to be calm under pressure, or exhausted.
- Becoming focused and making good decisions in challenging circumstances.
- Improving your reflexes, balance and hand-eye coordination.
- βStress relief through hard work, releasing endorphins and burns off cortisol.
- The flow state is when you have to be entirely present in the moment, silencing outside worries.
β- Challenging your brain, building new neural pathways and keeping you mentally sharp.

- Humbling the ego, replacing arrogance with mutual respect for training partners.
--> All of these things help build you, keep you busy and really can help your mental health πͺπ
All of this is delivered by our volunteer group of dedicated coaches, and our safeguarding lead, who want to provide a safe and inspiring place to train.
We have a code of conduct, rules and a card system. All in place to enable us to keep the lessons and club running smoothly.
