Well, it doesn’t feel like a week since our Book Sale West Ward Community Centre last Saturday!

As well as everyone who came along and bought books, raffle tickets jigsaws, bacon rolls and cakes, a massive thank you , you make this event for us!

We also have a lot of people to thank for our successful event as part of the extended Lions family who volunteered to make the event a success

There are too many to name individually but a special mention to Steve Lovell at Bridgend Combined Armed Forces Veterans Breakfast Club for the support in preparing for the event with sorting as well as setting out and clearing away the books, West Ward Community Centre for their support with the event not just on the day but all year and @1092 (Bridgend) Squadron Air cadets(pictured) who worked extremely hard and possibly had the books away in the fastest ever time!
