Young Adult Carer ROOTS Project All 16-25 year olds from the Bridgend area with a caring role are invited to come along to the support group which takes place once a month.

The R.O.O.T.S Project is open to young adult carers aged 14 - 25. Bridgend young adult carers voice project is a partner project between Action for Children and Bridgend Carers Centre. It has been developed as part of the Community Voice project which is funded by the Big Lottery. It helps to give a voice to young adult carers aged 16-25. Young adult carers can develop skills, knowledge and confidence to represent others in influencing policy, decisions on service delivery and evaluation that relate to their needs.
