It’s that time of year again… 🪕🪗🎹

We're looking for musicians, poets, comedians to perform on the busking spot at the Winter Floating Fayre. It’s our 10 year anniversary this year so let’s make it a cracker 🎉

We always have lots of applications and try to prioritise those with a connection to the canal or the travelling community.

📢 Calling traders 📢

We are still taking applications for traders for our special 10-year anniversary event in Bradford-on-Avon this December - but be quick before the closing date October 12th!

Join us for a weekend of boats, heritage crafts, beautiful handmade wares, live music, festive food and drinks and so much more!

As well as the market on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th December, there’ll be magical Christmas lights, songs and mulled drinks on the Friday night - and maybe even a special guest for Boater kids…

Land-based and boater traders are welcome to apply, come along and set up shop to sell your goods and services to the folk of the towpath.

✨ Applications are now open for the 10th Anniversary of the Kennet & Avon Floating Fayre! ✨

We’re looking for floating traders, heritage crafters, local makers, food & drink traders, artists and more to join us in Bradford on Avon for a very special anniversary weekend.

The Fayre runs from Friday 11th - Sunday 13th December.

Friday evening is our special opening night, with the Christmas Light Switch-On at 6pm, mulled w**e, hot chocolate and winter solstice songs. ✨

There will be no general trading on Friday, although floating traders positioned at the bottom of the locks are welcome to trade during the evening.

The main Fayre will take place on Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th December, with boats, heritage crafts, local traders, festive food & drinks, live music and plenty of Christmas magic.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our dear friend, Hillary Thompson.

Many of you will know Hillary as the heart and soul behind the Barge Inn craft & gifts market in the Barn at our summer fayres, where she brought so much creativity and vibrancy.

Hillary’s final wish was to be laid to rest next to her mother in Melksham. To help make this possible and to give her the beautiful send-off she truly deserves, a crowd funder has been set up.
