🎉 OUR CHARITY DRAG BINGO NIGHT IS GETTING CLOSER! 👑✨

Hosted by the fabulous The Bodacia Queen, our charity fundraising Drag Bingo Night is not far away — and we’re now down to just TWO GROUP TABLES LEFT! 🚨

💜 What’s a Group Table?
A group booking gives you an exclusive table for 8 people — just you and your group for the evening. No sharing your table with other guests!

Need to squeeze in a couple more friends? On request, we can add up to 2 extra seats to a group table. These additional places are charged at the individual ticket price, and please bear in mind that 10 people will make things a little more snug around the table!

https://tidycal.com/bpchub/bodacias-charity-drag-bingo-night-group-booking

🎟️ Individual tickets are still available too.

If you book individual tickets together, we’ll make sure your booking is seated together — so if you buy 2, 3 or 4 tickets, you’ll all be together. However, individual ticket holders will be seated on shared tables with other guests.

So, if you’ve got a group of friends, family or colleagues planning to come along and you want a table exclusively to yourselves, now is the time to grab one of those final two!

📅 Saturday 3rd October 2026
📍 Bucklers Park Community Hub
⏰ Arrival from 7:30pm | Event 8pm–10:30pm
💷 Group table of 8: £75
🎟️ Individual tickets: £10

Expect bingo, raffles, entertainment, plenty of laughs, prizes and a brilliant night out — all while helping to raise vital funds for Age Concern Bracknell Forest. 💜

🔥 JUST 2 EXCLUSIVE GROUP TABLES REMAINING — once they’re gone, they’re gone!

🚌 A wonderful day out in Stratford-upon-Avon!

On Wednesday, we were delighted to take some of our members on another of our community coach trips, this time visiting the beautiful and historic Stratford-upon-Avon!

There was plenty to see and explore, from the town’s beautiful historic buildings and Shakespeare connections to the lovely riverside — and, most importantly, lots of opportunities to enjoy the day together. ❤️

Our community trips are about so much more than simply having a day out. They give people the opportunity to explore somewhere new, enjoy new experiences, make memories and stay connected with the wider world beyond their local community.

There were plenty of smiles, lots of laughs and a great time was had by everyone — and we were especially grateful that the rain decided to hold off for us! ☀️🙌

📸 Take a look at some of our photos from the day and some of the beautiful sights we got to enjoy.

We absolutely love being able to organise trips like these for our members, and we're already looking forward to the next adventure! 🚌💚

🐾🎨 Midweek fun at the Day Centre! 🎬✨
Wednesday has been another busy one at Age Concern Bracknell Forest Day Centre!
We kicked off the morning getting creative with some brilliant autumn artwork 🍂 — crushing tissue paper, colouring and creating pieces for our brand-new seasonal display board. Before a big two course lunch.

Then we mixed things up with a showing of Mary Poppins in our little cinema 🎬☂️, before welcoming a very special visitor… the gorgeous Smidge, our therapy dog! 🐶

💛 As you can see, Smidge was very happy making the rounds, saying hello and getting plenty of attention!

And, of course, we couldn't finish the day without a triple game of bingo — with one particularly lucky member managing to win three times! 🏆

While all that was happening, there were plenty of other activities going on around the centre too, from reminiscing with books and conversation to enjoying our interactive dementia-friendly screens.

That's what we love about our Day Centre: no two days are quite the same. We try to fill every day with choice, laughter, companionship and plenty to get involved with.

Just a little glimpse of our Wednesday! 💚

🎶 What a fantastic Friday at St Paul’s! 🎶

Today we welcomed Hi-Jinx back to St Paul’s Church in Harmans Water for another brilliant session! 💃🕺

There was plenty of singing, dancing, laughter and fun as people came together, made connections and enjoyed each other’s company. ❤️

These sessions are about so much more than activities — they’re about bringing people together and helping to tackle loneliness and isolation in our community.

📍 We’re at St Paul’s Church every other Friday, and on the Fridays we’re not here, you’ll find us at Bullbrook Community Centre.

So there’s somewhere to join us every Friday! 🙌

Come along, meet new people, have some fun and be part of a welcoming local community. 💙

💙 A Huge Thank You to Samsung Chertsey! 💙
A massive thank you to the wonderful volunteers from Samsung Chertsey who came along to visit us on Wednesday and spent some lovely time with our clients. 🥰
There were lots of smiles, laughter and fantastic conversations as everyone got involved in quiz games, 20 Questions and a good old game of bingo! 🎉 We had so much fun and it was wonderful to see our clients enjoying the company and getting involved.
And as if that wasn't kind enough, we were absolutely blown away to receive a wonderful food donation, delivered by Iceland from one of the volunteers who came along with Samsung. 🛒❤️
This kind and generous donation is so, so appreciated by all of our members and staff. It makes such a difference to our centre and the people we support.
Thank you all once again for your time, kindness, generosity and for making Wednesday such a special day for us. 💕
We hope to see you again soon! 🌟
From all of us at Age Concern Bracknell Forest — thank you! ❤️

🎶 This is how we kick off a Thursday morning at the Day Centre! 🥁💃

The rain had started outside, so we decided it was time to lift everyone’s spirits inside! ☔️❤️

Out came the tambourines, on went some classic tunes, and before long everyone was having a shake, a sing-song and plenty of laughs. What better way to wake everybody up and get the day started? 🎵

And that’s only the beginning! Today we’ve got digital art on our dementia-friendly interactive screens, a lovely lunch to look forward to, and a whole afternoon of activities planned.

Just a little glimpse into life at our Day Centre — where even a grey, rainy Thursday can start with music, movement and a smile. 🥰
